When you have such a huge following, you sometimes try to show off a little and that’s totally fine. MrBeast also did something similar recently, with his friend Karl Jacobs, during the VidCon 2022.
MrBeast and Karl Jacobs make the massive crowd chant “toast”!
In case anyone missed it, VidCon – the annual convention for fans, content creators, and online industries – made a return this year, after a long hiatus. It didn’t take place for two years due to the COVID-19 pandemic. But this year, it was held in its proper format at the Anaheim Convention Center last month.

However, the impact of the pandemic was quite visible this time, as visitors were less in numbers than in 2019. This time, only 50,000 people made it to VidCon. Interestingly, most of them were present at the Anaheim Convention Center to see none other than their favorite YouTuber Jimmy “MrBeast” Donaldson.
It looks like MrBeast also knew this very well, so he decided to have a little fun with his fans. Along with his friend and famous streamer Karl Jacobs, Jimmy thought to make his followers chant in whatever way he wanted to. He just wanted to see if this strategy worked or not in front of a crowd. “We want to see if we can get them to chant whatever we want,” he said.

As you can see in the YouTube short clip, MrBeast chants “Toast”, out of nowhere, alongside Karl and they both ask the crowd to do the same. Jimmy even insists his fans say it even “louder”.
After witnessing that his strategy was successful, the YouTuber said that one can “get a crowd to chant anything”, even if it’s a random word like Toast. Overall, this random chant did prove that Jimmy’s fans just love whatever he does.
