The month of June has been harsh to the Minecraft community, as they lost one of the most prominent Minecraft streamers, Technoblade. He was famous for streaming many of the Minecraft content on his channel. The streamer also collaborated with big names like MrBeast.

The YouTube star with 98.7 million subsc`ribers is a huge fan of Minecraft. Many might not even know, but Jimmy Donaldson began his YouTube career as a video game streamer who mostly streamed Minecraft. So, the YouTube star hosted many Minecraft challenges for fans or collaborated with Minecraft streamers.

In 2021, MrBeast hosted a Minecraft challenge for Technoblade and his friend. Donaldson and his crew created a map of the world and asked Technoblade and his friends to hide throughout the map, while Jimmy and his team eliminated those they found hiding.

Technoblade eagerly wanted to win the challenge as the prize was a $10,000 refrigerator. But during the game, Technoblade cracked a deal with Jimmy and his crew that if he gave out the location of his friends, he would give him a $5,000 refrigerator.

Technoblade did a fantastic job at hiding. After he got caught, he again made a deal with Jimmy to escape. However, he eventually lost the game and had to give up the $10,000 refrigerator. But MrBeast stuck with his word and rewarded him with a $5,000 refrigerator for his help.

MrBeast paid a colossal tribute to Technoblade

The Minecraft streamer battled cancer for over a year. But after a long fight, Technoblade passed away on June 30, 2022. It was devastating news for his fans and every content creator. His passing away at the age of 23 had a huge impact on everybody.

Many famous internet personalities like Pokimane, Ludwig, and Dream showcased their tributes. Dream, a Minecraft streamer who collaborated multiple times with Technoblade, shared how devastated he was to know about the 23-year-old’s passing away.

However, fans raised questions against the biggest YouTube streamer, MrBeast, as he didn’t give any tribute or showcase condolence towards the sad news. But Donaldson silenced them by donating the $150,000 prize money he won against Ninja in the League of Legends face-off to Technoblade – Sarcoma Foundation of America.
