The charismatic Power House and Hollywood legend Jack Black is not only just an actor but also a big gamer. He is one of those rare A-listers who runs a successful online career alongside their acting careers. A few years ago, Black had made a short skit on his channel inspired by Red Dead Redemption II that had left the fans in awe. 

Developed and published by Rockstar Games, Red Dead Redemption II is one of the most critically acclaimed open-world RPG games in gaming history. Released back in 2018, RDR 2 tells a story set in the outlaw-ish and brutal world of the Wild West. From the narrative to the visuals, the game was praised by fans and critics alike. 

Jack Black Once recreated the essence of Red Dead Redemption II 

Jack has been a very active content creator on YouTube for years. While he identifies as a gamer, he makes a variety of content on his channel. Three years ago, on his channel, he made a video titled, “Jablinski VS. Jack Black – The SHOWDOWN”. Watch below:

Inspired by the Red Dead Redemption 2 and old wild west movies, Jack opened the video with a dueling scene. But the catch was, Jack was fighting himself! It was an allegory, between two of his personas, Jack Black and JablinskiGames, in the sequence he kills Jack Black saying, “The Internet ain’t big enough for both of us,” making it clear that on the Internet he is JablinskiGames.

Previously, Jack had shared his enthusiasm for a movie adaptation of Red Dead Redemption 2. He said, “And there are some great games that have yet to be explored in television or film. Maybe there’s going to be a Red Dead Redemption movie? There should be, because I think that [has] just as good or [an] even better story than The Last of Us.”

The Super Mario Bros. actor had shared how much of a fan he is of good game adaptations. He was very glad about how Mario turned out, but now is all set for an RDR movie. “I’m a fan of adaptations when done right. The Last of Us was fantastic. And what’s crazy is how loyal it is to the original source material. It’s basically all from the game with just a couple of tweaks. It’s going to win all the awards. They used the video game almost like a storyboard and I was like, ‘Whoa, this looks just the same,’” added Jack Black.
