The silent guardian of Gotham City, Batman, is a nightmare for every evildoer. Where every other superhero brings a smile to people’s faces, Batman brings an added quotient of terror. But even with all his dark demeanor, at the end of the day Batman is a good guy, right?

The righteous enemy of crime, the vengeance of night, Batman, may not be the paragon of Justice anymore. The new visuals from the upcoming Suicide Squad game tease one of the darkest adaptations of the iconic detective, voiced by the legendary actor.
Batman literally goes ‘dark’ in Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League
The new upcoming Suicide Squad game by the devs of the phenomenal Batman Arkham series, Rocksteady, and published by Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment, is a brand new take on the DC’s notorious criminal task force. In this game, the roles of good and bad are very vague.
The legendary superhero team Justice League gets turned into brainwashed brutes by the dreadful Alien overlord Brainiac, and the bad guys are called for the job to stop them. In previous trailers, the game showcased how terrifying the superheroes could be when they don’t hold back. In the first teaser, the friendly speedster, the Flash was given the spotlight.
Fans were chilled to the bones when the warm attitude of the Scarlet Blur was compromised into murderous intent. And in a recent trailer, the game showed the most terrifying hero of the DC universe, Batman’s dark side.
In the teaser, the Dark Knight struck from the shadows, while the members of the squad stood still, afraid and shocked. This teaser holds a lot of significance for the fans and the universe, as it was confirmed that this game will be in the same universe as the Arkham Games. And none other than the Legendary voice actor, Kevin Conroy, who recently passed away voiced the Caped Crusader.
Fans share their thoughts on the dark role of the Dark Knight
Many fans pointed out that initially, the team was planning to keep the Batman reveal a surprise. Because in the last Arkham series, Arkham Knight, Batman died in the end. But it was speculated by the community that Batman wasn’t dead, instead, he had ‘faked’ his death.
Given Batman is believed to be “dead” in the Arkham universe, I have a strong feeling Rocksteady was going to keep Batman a secret until the release of Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, but Kevin Conroy’s death made them want to reveal it and pay tribute to him. pic.twitter.com/bmrxTxAHvO

Fans pointed out that the reveal was going to be a spectacle in the game, but due to the recent heartbreaking departure of Kevin, the team decided to reveal that the Dark Knight is still alive, and he is back with a vengeance, to give tribute to his last performance as the silent guardian.
