Cheering up for your team is one thing, doing cosplay for the same is another and having your buddies with you is just a jackpot. And such an instance took place in Petco Park, San Diego. Amidst a baseball match, the Super Mario Sluggers made an appearance in the in-real-life game. Surprisingly, the in-game rivals cheer for the same team in the baseball match.

In the MLB match, Arizona Drawbacks won the match against San Diego Padres. But what won the hearts was a special appearance by the Mario characters. Four guys seated amongst the huge audience came to cheer their team in a different fashion. And they might have just hit the home run with this cosplay hit.

Fans delighted to finally meet the legendary Super Mario characters

A Twitter account by the name Jomboy Media (@JomboyMedia) has tweeted a clip that has left the MLB as well as Mario fans amazed. As what seems to be family members, dressed as the Super Mario Sluggers. While nailing the cosplay, they came as Waluigi (purple costume), Luigi (green costume), Wario (yellow costume), and Mario (red costume).

The commentators were surprised at the sight of the squad witnessing the baseball match. Not only this, Twitter was stunned by seeing the characters. To say the least, the sluggers stole many eyes and became the star of the match.

In an atmosphere where everyone dresses up in their favorite jersey, the Sluggers accomplished the mission by taking inspiration from the video game belonging to the genre of the on-field game. Thus, it would be exciting to see where the squad will be headed next.

Mario Super Sluggers is a sport and adventure video game developed by the Namco Bandai Games and Now Production. Published by Nintendo it is playable on Wii. Moreover, the game comes as a part of the Mario Sports series. Also, it is a sequel to Mario Superstar Baseball for the GameCube.

Released in 2008, the video game finds its mechanics similar to the MLB format. In addition, every character carries a special ability and delivers individual skills for the success of the respective team. Moreover, the game offers different stadiums to keep the gameplay dynamic for gamers.
