2020’s break out RPG title Genshin Impact will finally make its debut in the next-gen console, PlayStation 5. The studio hosted its pre-update live stream, where it confirmed the news. Version 1.5  of Genshin Impact will release on April 28, and it will also mark its release in PS5. Next-gen console owners will finally get the chance to experience stunning visuals of the title in 4k resolution.

Sony revealed an elaborate gameplay demo to showcase its performance in next-gen hardware. Safe to say, the end results are mind-blowing as the game runs smoothly at 60 FPS with maxed-out visual settings.

Genshin Impact update 1.5 will be a massive content drop

The upcoming major update will definitely add a lot of content. The long-time players of the title have been complaining about the lack of new content, and the next update will resolve that issue.

Update 1.5 is going to add a second part of the Zhongli storyline that will certainly make things interesting. The studio has also revealed that Zhongli will also see a re-run in the upcoming patch. The studio will also release two characters in Yanfei and Eula in the next major patch.

Not just that, the new storyline will pave the way for the debut of a brand new weekly boss. This world boss claims to be the god of geovshaps and calls himself Azhdaha. This update will also add brand new artifact sets, and a new trounce domain, which could contain new boss Abyss Lector.

New artifact sets will certainly alter many characters builds, while also providing more options. Gamers can find more ways to build character and they can also experiment with various 2-piece bonuses.

The studio has also shed light on a brand new housing system that will be added soon. Players will finally gain the mysterious Serenitea pot that was first seen in the Liyue storyline. Players will get to build custom houses, and design a realm of their own as per their desire.

The studio has rolled out a similar web event in Hillidream camp event as a teaser. It showcases the housing system in a new light and essentially serving as a tutorial. Fans can experience the housing system and how it would work before the update goes live next week.
