A group of five unidentified men has stunned the gaming world with their brazen Nintendo Switch heist, and fans are not loving it.
On January 17, 2023, a group of five masked men stole $10,000 worth of Nintendo Switch consoles from a Windsor city store. According to the Windsor Star, the crime took place on the night of Jan 17, when the gang took over a Walmart Supercentre at 3120 Dougall Ave. And well, this turned out to be the second heist of the day as the gang was suspected of another sometime back.
The Windsor police claimed that four out of the five suspects engaged in distracting the employees and customers while the remaining one completed the job. Apparently, he broke down the locks of the display doors in the electronics section, getting out the consoles, piece by piece. And while they completed the job, the value of the stolen items went so high that police claimed a $10,000 heist.

Apparently, the Nintendo Switch heist wasn’t the only crime the group committed, as the authorities accused them of another one. Sadly, the group was seen at a nearby Home Depot located at 1925 Division Rd, where they stole tools worth $5,000. Quite sad, right? Well, it is much more surprising that the crime was committed on the same night as the Walmart store.
