And every person has at least got their hands on one of the gaming machines. Surprisingly, King Charles III didn’t miss the chance when he got one to experience the feeling of an arcade game.

The arcade games, the retro music, and the clinking sounds of the coins in the jackpot machine remain golden moments in the history of gaming. Especially the arcade car racing machine. Going by the video of King Charles enjoying the car racing game, it looks like he surely loved the game with his fellow pupils.

King Charles III did the job, but his partner wasn’t completely impressed

The ten-year-old video shows Prince Charles, now King Charles III, playing an arcade video game. To clarify, the video was taken during his visit to a youth center. The Prince interacted with the pupils from Forest of Teesdale Primary School which had only 13 children.

The children were excited to get the Prince on the video car racing chair. And played a race with him in Sega’s Touring Car Championship. Luke Scott, of age 10, briefed the Prince about the mechanics of the game.

While playing beside each other, the two shared laughter. After this, Luke had some insight into the Prince’s game style. He said that Prince Charles “needed more practice.” Irrespective of what the result of the race was, this interaction makes the visit memorable for both parties.

In October 2012, Prince Charles arranged a visit to Middleton-in-Teesdale. Hundreds of people had gathered together to welcome him into the city. Moreover, the main motive of the trip was a part of his campaign to bring back rural businesses. Somehow, the episode of car racing became the highlight of the event.

Surprisingly, Queen Elizabeth II also had a knack for gaming. And Nintendo was the console that offered her an exciting gaming experience. The Mirror took the initiative to bring this news to the world. While talking to a Palace source, it was learned that Kate Middleton bought Prince William the Nintendo Wii console for Christmas.

Moreover, they say, “When she saw William playing a game after lunch at Sandringham she thought the Nintendo looked tremendous fun and begged to join in.” And played like a natural. Surprisingly, THQ also had once dedicated a 24-karat gold Nintendo Wii console to the Queen. Given these points, it seems that gaming was a natural gene that prevailed in The Royal Family.
