Call of Duty Warzone recently saw the unleashing of a scary being. Krampus was put into the game as part of the Christmas event. However, players had a few complaints, to say the least. Luckily, it now looks like Raven has finally decided to take action.

Krampus is now considerably nerfed.

Krampus is not very popular in the Warzone community. The fact that, unlike the Haunting of Verdansk, Krampus is present in every version of the Caldera map did not sit well with the community. Adding on, the beast is a literal bullet sponge. His random appearance puts all the players who wish to play strategically in jeopardy. Players felt that Krampus had little need in a game like Warzone.

It looks like Raven Software, the studio responsible for the development of this iconic batt;e-royale has finally taken action. In a Twitter post, they highlighted the changes that they have made to the beast.

Fan reactions were somewhat mixed. A large portion of the community obviously welcomed this change. However, the other portion is still quite critical of Krampus’ presence in the game itself. They feel that Raven needs to focus on more pressing issues before adding trivial events in-game.

Larger issue in-game

While the nerfing of Krampus is definitely a step in the right direction, Raven still has a long way to go to win back the community’s love. As of right now, Warzone on the console is a nightmare. Glitches and bugs are rampant. Next-gen consoles are consistently facing crashes. The absence of a FOV slider does not make matters better. The game is a nightmare for consoles.
