Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 Zombies consists of amazing features. This includes similarities with last year’s DMZ mode. Both are extraction-based and players need to loot items and complete contracts in both the modes. However, there’s one more thing which is common in these two experiences – Contraband Weapons.

Now, Modern Warfare Zombies works a little differently in offering players rare weapon options. Apart from killing AI soldiers, just like DMZ, players have to mostly earn them by defeating zombie bosses and other deadly creatures. As a reward, players get the chance of having an upgraded weapon that they can extract with. Which ultimately becomes the Contraband Weapon, taking a place in their slots.

This crazy glitch helps in saving Contraband Weapons in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 Zombies

A player recently took to YouTube to share a mind-boggling trick. It helps in retaining one’s weapons as Contraband in Modern Warfare Zombies. The player mentioned the solution of how others can save any insured weapon as a Contraband weapon instead. In order to proceed further, it is necessary for players to finish the Act 1 of the story missions.

This step is mandatory in order to get two insured slots ready in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 Zombies. From here, the first thing to do is to put customized weapons in the two slots before entering a match. However, the main weapon players have to focus on, to have it saved as Contraband, will be in the second insured slot.

After entering the match, players have to wait for the Exfil points to show up on the Tac Map. Of course, they need to keep killing the zombies until the chopper arrives to take them in. In short, they need to survive whatsoever.

When the Exfil points start popping up on the Tac Map, they have to reach to a nearest Exfil site. Players can take any vehicle to save time and also to run over zombies while preventing attacks from them.

Now, all players have to do is to just call in the Helicopter for extraction. Once it arrives, players have to enter the helicopter and extract successfully. This is basically a glitch that ends up saving and duplicating any weapon in use as a Contraband for future. So the next time players start a match, they won’t have to equip a boring loadout options comprising of regular guns. Players will have the option to choose their own customized guns instead of what the game offers to them.

In the video, the YouTuber was unable to explain why this glitch works the way it does. But it’s there in the game right now. So all the players who want to duplicate their favorite upgraded guns or sniper rifles for a future match in MWZ can utilize this trick.
