The multiplayer experience in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 is everything they wanted from last year’s MWII. It also brings back tons of movement mechanics from older installments. However, one feature is still missing from this otherwise fun game.

Modern Warfare 3 includes various options like slide cancelling and reload cancelling from 2019’s Modern Warfare. They were absent last year, but now, fans can utilize them once again while playing online matches. Now, players might end up receiving yet another beloved movement feature in Bunny Hopping. The news is coming straight from the devs at Sledgehammer!

Bunny Hop became quite popular during the days of original Warzone. Players used to utilize this movement in order to trick their enemies and gain an extra advantage. In order to bunny hop, a COD player needs to sprint and gain momentum before attempting to jump and ADS, while jumping, to shoot at the opponent. However, they need to jump again the moment they touch down to carry forward the momentum from the first jump. This is pretty much what’s known as bunny hopping.

While Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 is great in offering various options for movement-addicted players, there are still many who are missing the perk of being able to bunny hop. A lot of users have urged the devs to bring it back to make the experience even better in Multiplayer matches. Now, it looks like Sledgehammer has decided to work on this plan. At least that’s what one can interpret from a recent interaction studio devs had with the host of Pullze Check podcast.

Sledgehammer’s Senior Development Director, Adam Iscove and Creative Director Greg Reisdorf recently sat down with Repullze to talk about various things related to Modern Warfare 3. During the conversation, Repullze asked them about the possibility of doing bunny hopping in the game.
