Streamers are among the top content creators today. With the rise of platforms such as Twitch, streamers quickly became celebrities, with massive fanbases that consistently watch them. With this popularity, however, comes a different side, one with l0ads of disadvantages. One such streamer, justfoxii, experienced a harrowing event one night.
Twitch streamer justfoxii revealed to her fans on Twitch an incident of stalking that led to arson.

With popularity comes the threat of a wide variety of people knowing about you. Now, while this can be good, it resulted in a harrowing event for Kylee “justfoxii” Carter.
The streamer spoke about an incident of stalking on her stream recently, among numerous issues she is facing at the moment. The incident itself took place about two weeks before justfoxii spoke about it on the stream.

Carter was on vacation when she received a call from her mother. Her mother called her at 2 AM to inform her someone had set her car on fire. Carter had access to cameras placed at her house. As a result, she was able to see the events that transpired, along with evidence of the person responsible for doing so.
In the video, you can see a man placing a box on the bonnet of Carter’s car. He subsequently lights it on fire and walks away. What follows is the flame spreading rapidly, resulting in the car catching on fire.

Thankfully, no one was injured because of this. The individual responsible is in custody and being processed. Carter’s camera recording proved especially useful in catching the culprit, and also serve as evidence of the crime taking place.
What sets this incident apart is just the instance of stalking the streamer faced, but the extent the perpetrator went to carry out arson. It was revealed that the culprit traveled over 700 miles to set fire to her house. Before firefighters could arrive, the flames spread to the side of the house. The firefighters managed to contain it as soon as they arrived.

As for Carter, she announced needing a break from streaming. The event took a massive toll on her. She will be taking a break from her usual streaming schedule as she deals with the aftermath. The event was a reminder of the difficulties of being a streamer.
