Call of Duty fans are curiously looking forward to the upcoming Beta for this year’s FPS title. With everything that is confirmed, fans are eagerly looking forward to it. And the one thing fans are impatient about is witnessing the return of various maps from previous installments. And it looks like the Beta is going to be a heaven for them.

Modern Warfare III is confirmed to have 16 remastered maps from 2009’s Modern Warfare 2. From them, the players will get to see an extended look for 5 special maps, selected for the Beta phase. Five guesses which maps are confirmed.

Here are the 5 maps confirmed for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III Beta

Sledgehammer Games’ team has remade the iconic maps, from the original MW2, from scratch. And the devs have claimed the remakes will give hardcore fans the same feeling they used to get more than a decade ago.

And speaking of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III Beta, it will feature 5 popular maps for the next two weeks. Here’s a proper list of them all:

  • Favela
  • Rust
  • Estate
  • Skidrow
  • Popov Power Plant

 

However, there will be a sixth map as well, making its appearance during the second Beta weekend.

It’s going to be none other than the fan-favorite Highrise. This Multiplayer area will wrap up the Beta phase while offering the players a taste of its revamped look.

What to expect from Modern Warfare III’s Beta content?

Activision has already confirmed that the Multiplayer gameplay will be the highlight for Beta. Fans will get to witness the reveal of some classic movement mechanics coming back. Apart from that, a lot of iconic weapons from past installments are also expected to be available.

Players will also get to try out the Zombies mode. It will be an open world experience based on PvE format. Players will have to fight large hordes of the undead in order to loot items and extract successfully. They will also see the return of many ‘Wonder Weapons’ from previous Zombies-based games under the Black Ops sub-series.

As for Warzone, it won’t be there under the Beta. But curious fans will get its first look at the COD Next event. The latter is going to take place in the next few hours. It will see a lot of renowned content creators jumping into the next major Warzone map.

Meanwhile, Modern Warfare III’s Beta is set to kick off on October 6, 2023. It will be available on the PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X\S, Xbox One, and PC.
