Now that the open beta for Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 is out, fans have a look into how the game will turn out. That being said, many players have found small problems or areas where the game can improve. While there is still some time for the game to launch, players are still testing the game to see how it plays out.
During the beta test of COD: Modern Warfare 3, many players found places where the devs could improve on the gameplay. As games host open betas for primary player feedback, the devs at Sledgehammer are looking to implement as many changes as they can to make the games meet the players’ demands. Amidst the beta, one well-known source for COD news posted on their Twitter asking players to drop their feedback so they can show the devs.

On Twitter, a reputed user by the name of ModernWarzone made a post asking players about all their biggest complaints in the Modern Warfare 3 beta. They went ahead to tell the community that they are “Compiling a list to share with the dev teams and want to make sure I fit as much good criticism in it as I can.”

It is to be noted that the user ModernWarzone is a respected name in the community and is the source of very accurate Call of Duty news. The post stated that they are compiling all the complaints to send to the devs, which means that they also have influence over the community making devs listen to their opinion.
With the post, the user showed the community their active role as a defining part of the community. This led many players to share their opinion hoping that the devs address it before the official launch of Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3.
Fans voice their complaints
While many players were looking forward to playing the game with their friends, most were unable to do it with a smooth experience as they expected. One of the most viewed comments addressed a complaint about how players can see their opponents’ movement because of a buggy indicator giving away their position.

Some members of the community went into depth with the changes they would like to see implemented in the game.
– Give us the Kill Counter from MW19/MWII Beta.
– Give us red nametags above enemy players/make the blue dot/nametags bigger for friendlies to address visibility issues.
– Remove the spawn camera from Hardpoint.
– Give us OG Nuke.
– Give us Calling Card pop ups in game.

A concern about the difficulty of distinguishing between friends and foes was mentioned. The comment also mentioned how the footsteps of both teams were too loud in the game.

As many PlayStation players went ahead to mention their complaints, some fans just wanted the game to be released on Xbox and Microsoft so they could try out the open beta.

With all the complaints mentioned in the comments section, players hope that the devs respond to them. Having these changes will not only improve the game but will also show the players that the devs care. Once implemented, players can look forward to a Call of Duty experience like never before with Modern Warfare 3. With news of there being Seasonal updates where fans will get to see elements from older games, fans cannot wait for the start of Season 1 to begin their call of duty in this war-filled game.
