MrBeast has to make the most out of his videos after Squid Game

In a recent interview with Colin and Samir, MrBeast’s manager, Reed, explained how the 100 million YouTube star had to change his work ethic in order to cope with extreme performance pressure. He said, “Like every video now I think you kind of view it as if Squid game is the bar, what’s the next video gonna be? Which is kind of hard in his position because you have to continually one-up yourself.”

He further added, “This is what becomes dangerous about YouTube. When you’re in the game that Jimmy’s in, your each video has to be better than the next. But when you make a video like Squid game that is just a masterpiece that next video that you put out has to be a masterpiece as well.”

Notably, Reed said that the Squid Game video was well made and that even 3 million people in Korea watched the video. This is in fact an excellent insight to know what MrBeast is facing, and why he is taking such high-performance pressure for his videos.

Why MrBeast’s Squid Game video become so popular?

The reason that MrBeast’s Squid Game video became so popular has to do with the original show itself. The Netflix exclusive was a worldwide phenomenon with everyone talking and theorizing about it. The video just like the original series consisted of several games that people from Korea and other parts of the world play as kids. But with a twist that every player who gets eliminated has to be killed in the process.
