Last week, all the players who preordered Call of Duty Modern Warfare II had the chance to start playing the game a week early. Thanks to the access to its single-player Campaign, a lot of fans have been able to enjoy the story of this year’s awaited premium from Activision. Among them, some have already declared this title a true simulation of real-life, after witnessing the amazing in-game environments.

Call of Duty Modern Warfare II’s Amsterdam mission nails it in showcasing the real-life city!

Tech journalist-turned-freelance UX writer Juan Buis, who also happens to be a big CoD lover, recently shared a video from MWII’s Campaign. This video was originally posted by a user named Anthony Howard, who tried to show how much realistic the series has become, by sharing an example from the new game’s mission in the city of Amsterdam.

Juan Buis reiterated the same thing in his tweet by praising Call of Duty Modern Warfare II’s developing team and how they have delivered in terms of making believable set pieces inside the game.

While sharing the clip of a mission from the Campaign of the title, Buis wrote that according to him, Infinity Ward‘s latest offering shows a hyper-realistic version of the city of Amsterdam. “oh my god amsterdam looks *incredibly* realistic in the new call of duty — almost can’t believe this is a video game,” read the tweet.

It looks like several players themselves were also in the favor of Buis’ argument. They also expressed their joy at how unbelievably real Modern Warfare II‘s version of Amsterdam looks. They also lauded the way the new Call of Duty takes things to the next level when it comes to providing a true, immersive experience.
