If you’ve been following Overwatch streams, you’ll probably have come across Jay3’s streams. This Luminosity streamer shared one of his “Biggest achievements in (his) life” on stream. On the 28th of June, Christopher Pavloff (a.k.a. Jay3) made an insane gift to his dad, which is probably one of the most beautiful moments on the internet right now.

Jay3 Pays off His Family’s Debt

As seen in the video in a Twitter post by @JakeSucky, Pavloff made his dad sit down, wanting to give him a surprise gift. Delighted, the dad is surprised to see an envelope that the Overwatch streamer handed him. “I don’t even want to open it” says dad. adding “What the… What?” as he opens the envelope.
Debts paid off” replies Jay3 to his dad’s utter disbelief. This sent dad into shedding a couple happy tears, still reeling from disbelief.

If you’ve been following Jay3 for a while, you’ll know of his personal life as well. His mom struggled with ALS, and passed away 11 years ago, on October 9th, 2012. “There was no health insurance. Everything was out of pocket. That put us in a bad spot I guess” said Jay3 while narrating his life to Florida Mayhem.

Not His First Gift to Dad

While this may be his biggest accomplishment according to him, this is definitely not his first big gift to dad. In the middle of 2020, Jake’s dad lost his truck in a car crash, in the middle of 2021. The Overwatch streamer, with the help of his esports community, gifted his dad a brand new Ford truck on the 5th of October, 2020.

His dad later recounted his emotions in the interview with Florida Mayhem – “It was truly amazing that he was able to do that. God bless. The gaming world and him and everybody that follows him. God bless them all

“It’s been 8 years since my mom passed away and close to 1 year I almost lost my dad to a heart attack. He means the world to me and he’s my biggest supporter.”

Moved by his son’s affection, his dad was brought to tears both the times. Jay3, had words of graciousness both the times he surprised his father, thanking his “amazing community, aka family“.

If you aren’t following Jay3, he has a wonderful YouTube and Twitch community, covering Overwatch primarily. He has over 550K followers on Twitch, and over 350K subscribers on YouTube, and he is one of the bigger names in the Overwatch community. He was signed by Luminosity on the 4th of October. The org, no doubt, played a significant role in achieving this beautiful moment.
