There are quite a lot of multiplayer games present for gamers to play. An aspect that adds more spice to these multiplayer is its Ranked Modes. These allow players to compete against others and give them a chance to increase their ranks on the leaderboards.

Valorant is a game embedded in this system. But since the commencement of the recent Act, it sure has been quite controversial, to say the least. That is, the massive rank drop after the season ended brought widespread disbelief among the community.

Adding to that, more and more people were reportedly becoming toxic, which has not helped in maintaining the competitive spirit of the game. The largely affected in this regard were the streamers. TenZ was one among them, who voiced out concerns regarding the latest ranked matches.

He stated that he was facing very poor ranked matches, and from his recent Tweet, it seems that it still continues. TenZ was seen generally talking about ranked games and compared it to Among Us lobbies. We can speculate that the star was hinting at the idea of an ‘imposter’ and was comparing it to hackers, boosted players, toxic players, and the supposed crypto throwers.

TenZ is not the first player to take a dig at ranked games, especially in Valorant. During the late part last year, we saw many prominent players and streamers raising similar comments against the ranked lobbies.

Tarik, the Sentinels content creator, even made his own server titled ‘Pro City’ where players who wished to escape the toxic ranked environment can play. Of course, the Pro City was restricted to top-notch players.

Fans join to support TenZ’s statement

While TenZ was hinting at games in general, most people felt that he was talking about his own professional game Valorant. Thus, the community commented similar ideas about what Tyson stated and vented out their frustrations.
