Valorant has seen a sea of changes since its inception last year to get to where it is at this moment. The developers had to revamp a lot of things in order to strike a perfect balance of powers. For instance, Raze’s introduction was unforgettable, as her powers were simply too scary for a duelist. In the end, Riot had to nerf her abilities in order to trim her power scaling.

Similarly, Riot Games introduced the much expected nerf to sniper rifle Operator. The community received this change well, as it threw the gun from the meta, and significantly hurt the weapon’s power. However, fans have once again started clamoring for yet another nerf to the rifle, which has now irked a professional player in Tyson ‘TenZ’ Ngo.

TenZ is unhappy with Valorant fans’ approach towards Operator

TenZ is one of the greatest Valorant players in North America. In less than a year, he topped the leaderboards for the region and also sneaked an alternate account in the top 100 rankings as well. Recently, the pro player also achieved the impossible by winning the highest prize in Valorant by lifting the Master Stage 1 trophy.

The pro player plays the role of a main sniper and Jett main, which makes the operator an important weapon. The gun has already gone through massive nerf and another one could kill the weapon in its entirety. He heard the community’s outcry about the operator once again, which has not sat well with him at all.

In his tweet, he addressed the fans and also clarified his stance on the matter. He made it quite clear that Riot Games should leave the sniper rifle alone, as the weapon already feels quite weak.

He is spot on with his statement, as the operator majorly serves the role of shutting people down. It works as an anti peaking weapon, which will severely punish people who make aggressive peaks. It would not only help keep duelists from infiltrating the bombsite but also serves as an area denial device. The previous nerf already made the weapon quite problematic to purchase, and any more changes would be unnecessary.
