The Valorant world has been undergoing tumultuous times for a while. Multiple big organizations have been dropping their rosters due to underwhelming performance. The most recent team to face the chopping block was G2. Although G2’s roster drop was not as emotional as Team DSG’s departure. This org formed by Disguised Toast had all the support of the fans. But after a consistently poor performance, Team DSG’s entire roster was let go.

Former pro for Team DSG, yay, is now looking to join other organizations to compete once again in VCT. However, his route will not be easy due to multiple pros becoming free agents and looking for a new org.

While streaming recently, former Team DSG pro yay humored his fans on returning to VCT. He said, “Boys, here’s the situation. I’m just waiting for the Sentinels, 100 Thieves game because whoever loses will get fired. So spots will be opened up.” However, yay said this line as a joke on the current state of the professional Valorant scene. But his tone showed the pro player is ready to compete at any moment.

When asked if he had to switch regions to play in VCT, yay was accepting of this idea too. “I’ll play anything at this point,” he said. “I just don’t care. I just want to play”. The former Team DSG pro was ready to join VCT EMEA or VCT Pacific to get a chance to compete again. However, he won’t be getting a chance to compete just yet.

The former Team DSG pro is currently a free agent at tier 2 Valorant scene due to heavy losses before dropping out. So he has to wait for the completion of Valorant Champions. After the Champions Tournament, the free agency period will begin and yay, along with other pros, can get new organizations.

Fans are speaking with conviction that a player with the caliber of yay is certainly destined to get a top organization when the free agency period begins.
