It seems like the time for testing the new update is almost up, as the studio rolled out patch notes for Episode 3. The game is about to welcome its 16th agent with the upcoming major patch. Riot Games added a lurking duelist and a controller, and now, the game will receive a new initiator in KAY/O.

This agent excels at gathering information while putting the enemy team at a serious disadvantage. Moreover, the studio has also revealed a patch note for the same ahead of the update.

Episode 3’s patch note brings bad news for every Valorant agents

The studio has revealed the final patch notes of the upcoming major update. The confirmed changes will bring bad news for the entire roster on top of getting a suppression expert KAY/O. Every single character with a flash will now have to spend 250 credits to purchase it while Skye and Breach will only have 2 flashes instead of 3.

Breach has been with massive nerf, as the studio reduces his flash speed but buffed his ultimate’s spread exponentially. His basic skill ‘After Shock (C) can now deal damage in 3 instances, which will be enough to kill anyone easily.

The character’s signature skills have been tweaked significantly. It would be interesting to see how this character would fit into the ever-changing meta. Sage is definitely going to have a hard time finding her place after the upcoming update, as she has become quite expensive to manage. Similarly, Sova, Raze. Yoru and Skye all have also become significantly expensive.

Brimstone, Cypher, Pheonix, and Reyna are practically unchanged, as the studio only tweaked them slightly. The studio has indeed improved Killjoy’s cooldown of both turret and alarm bot, which is a great way to balance this character.

Jett has also received significant changes which might bring her power levels down. The studio has also tweaked Viper by toning her ability to lock down a site or delaying the post-plant situation.

Episode 3 has finally addressed run and gun

This massive change was a long time coming, as Riot Games may have finally cured run and gun. The studio has rolled massive changes to weapons like Phantom, Spectre, and others that were infamous for this crime.

The studio has made all the SMGs, LMGs and Rifle significantly inaccurate while walking. This will help cure the issue of run and gun while promoting skilled play.
