Valkyrae Reveals How Massive Leak Affected Her RFLCT Brand

Back in October 2021, 100 Thieves content creator and popular streamer Rachell “Valkyrae” Hofstetter was at the receiving end of backlash following the launch of her skincare line, RFLCT. Later on, private discord messages between Valkyrae and Ludwig Ahgren were leaked online on multiple social media platforms, creating a mess for Valkyrae. The reveal of her skincare line got a lot of backlash from all sides but her leaked chat with Ludwig showed what she really thought about that situation.

However, now, Valykrae finally revealed how her unfortunate leak affected her RFLCT skincare brand. While having a conversation with Twitch icon Ludwig, Valkyrea said, “Because of that leak. That is why they pulled out of 400 stores because of that leak. Yeah, that’s the reason why because originally they were still going to proceed regardless, but because of that leak, that’s why everything was removed. Which I think was a kind of a blessing in disguise honestly.”

It definitely looks like Valkyrae was able to dig herself out from this mess and the backlash has settled down finally. No doubt, Valkyrae’s intentions would’ve been good, but unfortunately, she was taken for a ride. Moreover, now it’s clear that she was put into an unfortunate position. Valkyrae did everything to just get out of the contract.

Atrioc leaks Ludwig’s discord conversation with Valkyrae about the RFLCT skincare line

After the launch, fans started to criticize the YouTube star for a scam product. The product’s claim to protect against blue light was heavily based on Pseudoscience. The resulting backlash from people tarnished the reputation of Valkyrae’s brand. And also continues to spark a lot of anger and disappointment among fans.

Back in October, the direct messages got leaked through Atrioc, Ludwig’s friend. The whole situation and the criticism were very unfortunate, but it’s great to see that Valkyrae has bounced back from the mess.
