In 2018 Mundfish announced that they are ceasing development on its VR game Soviet Lunapark to focus on Atomic Heart. And that’s how this game’s existence came into the spotlight. The gaming community did not see this as a piece of positive news either. They thought the developers were not focused and Atomic Heart would never see the light of day.

And then the bombshell was dropped when popular AA game publisher Focus Entertainment announced it would be publishing it. And eventually, Microsoft announced it as one of the games premiering on day one of its Xbox Game Pass services.
Now that the game’s release is just a few weeks away, a new trailer has been dropped, giving us a good look at its PC version running in its full glory!
Atomic Heart looks incredible on an Nvidia-powered PC!
Recently, the developer of Atomic Heart released a new trailer for the game. And it would be an understatement to say that it looks just incredible. The game is running on a system powered by an Nvidia GPU.
It shows the protagonist fighting numerous weird-looking enemy creatures. The game looks like a mix of Wolfenstein and Bioshock. The protagonist seems to be fighting a bunch of creatures that look like a mix of robots and fantastical beings.

The gameplay seems pretty high octane and so is the music featured in the trailer. The character’s left hand has some powers that are very similar to the plasmids in Bioshock games.
The game’s setting facility 3826 looks pretty retro-futuristic, a trait it shares with the modern Wolfenstein games.
The game’s official synopsis says “The main protagonist is a KGB special agent called Major Nechaev. His nickname is P-3, and he is sent by his contractor Sechenov to keep the situation at facility 3826 from deteriorating.”
