PlayStation Vita EU region users are not able to download or search anything right now due to an unusual issue. The PS Vita store has been preventing users from downloading anything from the store for at least three days. The situation looks pretty serious, to be honest.
Earlier this week, the UK, as well as Australian users, also faced multiple issues with download and service. However, that region’s issue has been resolved.

The company has directly sent an official word to all the players who have reported this issue to Sony Interactive Entertainment directly. The notice reads (as reported by nme.com), “We’re not aware of any systemic issues with the PS Vita Store but will investigate further.” It’s been almost four days and still, there is no sign of improvement so far.
Sony assured players that they are on it and the store will be working very soon. And other regions, such as North America’s servers, are working just fine.

Earlier Sony pulled out the PlayStation Vita functionality. And due to this, they mainly lost the trademark right in the EU region for Vita when referring to audio playback and film. Now they only keep the name for video games. Definitely, players are pretty concerned about this matter because Sony has been working on slowly removing its support for the handheld console.
Above all digital releases have been ceased while the physical titles for Vita users will come out in December 2021.
In other news, recently PlayStation 5 turned one and Sony celebrated this big day with a list of all the top games based on the gameplay hours. Without any surprise, Fortnite topped the list, followed by Balck Ops Cold War and FIFA 21.
However, Sony also highlighted the point that due to multiple pandemic restrictions all over the world, Sony is cutting down its manufacturing target. Moreover, it now seems like 2022 will be just the same as 2021 when it comes to low stock and high demand.
