3. Archaic Warm Greaves:

The weather poses a significant challenge in the early stages of the game. However, players can find some relief with the Archaic Warm Greaves, an Armor item in the Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom that provide resistance against the cold. Moreover, these greaves are easily obtainable early in the game, on the tutorial area aka The Great Sky Island.

After successfully passing through the snowy eastern region of the island and reaching the Gutanbac Shrine, players unlock the Ascend ability. Using this newfound skill, they can venture just outside the shrine to a wooden ledge extending from a big hollow tree trunk at the mountain’s summit. Within the trunk, they can find a small hole in the corner, hiding a green zonaite chest. By opening this chest, players will discover the Archaic Warm Greaves.

2. Hylian Shield:

The Hylian Shield, renowned as one of the most formidable shields in the game, is attainable right at the beginning area of the game. Once players have completed Purah’s quest and obtained the paraglider, they can fly to a cave near Hyrule castle where the legendary Hylian Shield awaits.

To locate the shield, players must launch themselves using the same tower featured in Purah’s quest. From there, using the paraglider, they need to navigate to the coordinates: -0161, 1159, 0037. At this location, they can find a cave. By igniting the large brazier at the cave’s end, a hidden chest pops up containing the coveted Hylian Shield.

Near the Castle, players encounter an NPC named Addison. We can spot this character holding a sign promoting Hudson constructions. By assisting Addison and constructing support for his sign using the Ultra-hand, players can bring him great joy. As a token of appreciation, Addison rewards the player with 20 Rupees. Addison can be found throughout the entire game, and helping him each time will earn the player an additional 20 rupees.
