Gamescom 2022 was held in August to give gamers a demo of the gameplay embedded in the games. Games like High On Life, Return To Monkey Island, and Lies Of P were playable at the expo. Surprisingly, players got the chance to test the Sonic Frontiers and they found a new game mode.
A new clip on the internet reveals a new side of Sonic Frontiers
Sonic Frontiers was put on the systems in Gamescom 2022, for the people to get a first-hand preview of it. Hence, an off-screen video has surfaced that unveils a character that has never been seen before in the respective video game. Above all, it is a medium to collect Treasure Tokens.
In the off-screen video, a mini-fishing game was seen. Moreover, the video presents the first look of Big the Cat, found near the fishing ground. Above all, the players can get Sonic to hunt fish and then earn Treasure Tokens. Which can be further used to claim items needed for Sonic’s journey.
To get the special tokens, players would have to tilt “Their rod up when a white ripple overlaps with a red one.” And voila! Players will have treasured tokens that will become an advantage for Sonic to complete his adventure. Furthermore, the game features a Gold Card that can be traded with the items on the list.
The game is nearing the stores as the days go by
Sonic Frontiers is an upcoming platform game developed by the Sonic Team and published by Sega. Sonic the Hedgehog is the protagonist of the storyline who ventures through the utopian world to find the Chaos emeralds. For this, he has to level up himself for a bumpy ride as the world is full of uncertainty and hurdles him to reaching his destination.

The game is all set to launch on November 8, 2022. Moreover, the game will be playable on Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, Xbox X | S, PC, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 5. The game has been popular in the gaming industry since 1991. Therefore, players await to play as Sonic in a much better graphically designed world.
