It is rather interesting that such a prominent podcaster agrees with the fact that video games help ” improve your brain function”, despite him making “fun” of gamers. But the real question that arises here is why Joe Rogan thinks that video games make him feel “depression.”
Joe Rogan says that he supports gamers despite making fun of them, however, feels depressed when he plays video games himself
In his recent podcast with his friends, Shane Gillis, Mark Normand, and Ari Shaffir, who are stand-up comics, writers, and podcasters, were reacting to some maps from games like Call of Duty, when Joe Rogan said and everyone agreed that video games are rather good to improve someone’s brain functioning.

Rogan in the podcast said, “We make fun of these gamers. We’re making fun of them, but you know, they do say that it does improve your brain function. Oh, yeah. Like we wanted to say, Oh, you have to play chess in order to make your brain function better. Like no, no, kind of any.”

“I think it’s any game of chess puzzles, solving things, you know, chest pains, but ya know, they’re they’re good for depression as well,” Joe Rogan further said regarding him getting depressed despite supporting video games a few moments earlier. “They cause depression in me. Sometimes you get done with them. And you’re like, what happened? I don’t know where the day go?”
