But it was just now revealed that the update would be dropping a week earlier on all platforms. And players all over are delighted by the surprise release of this new update. However, this update brings with it a lot more than what Ubisoft previously promised.
Ubisoft brings a new character to Assassin’s Creed Valhalla
Official Assassin’s Creed Twitter account revealed today that this update would bring with it a new character. This new character would be crucial in connecting Assassin’s Creed Valhalla to the upcoming Mirage. Eivor, the protagonist of Valhalla and Roshan from Mirage, would be teaming together for a quest named “Shared History”. Players can find her waiting for them in Ravensthorpe with this new mission for them.
Roshan would be primarily featured in the upcoming Assassin’s Creed Mirage as the mentor of protagonist Basim. Award-winning actress Shohreh Aghdashloo will be voicing this character in the upcoming game. Fans waiting eagerly for the release of Mirage are very excited to see this new character introduced to them in such a surprising manner. Ubisoft really gave its fans a pleasant surprise with this one.
Mirage will be taking fans back to the roots
Talking about Assassin’s Creed Mirage itself, Ubisoft has promised that this game would return the series to its roots. There would be more focus on stealth and parkour than any other recent Assassin’s Creed game.
For those who missed it, Ubisoft revealed Assassin’s Creed Mirage recently as a prequel to Valhalla. Players would be playing the character of Basim and see his journey through. It tells the story of what Basim did before meeting the protagonists of Valhalla.

Maybe Ubisoft has taken this direction to remedy the complaints where fans claim that the series has changed too much and become something else altogether. Some fans are really disappointed at its transformation from a Stealth action series with parkour to an Action RPG series with little to no stealth and very simplified parkour mechanics.
