Mario + Rabbids: Sparks of Hope was released for the Nintendo Switch a while ago. The game, without a doubt, looks very impressive. Its gameplay, too, introduced just the right number of new things for its fans to stay hooked. But its performance was lacking, and it got mixed reviews at launch. Then Ubisoft announced an impressive bunch of DLC.

One of those DLCs showed an upcoming mysterious character. That was obviously Rayman, but fans had to wait a very long time before that DLC became a reality. Finally, the wait is over.

Ubisoft has launched a new trailer for this game, introducing the new DLC with the aim of bringing the quirky feel of Rayman to this game with this new DLC. As if those silly Rabbids weren’t quirky enough.

It starts with a TV set showing a show on the Space Opera Network channel. This show gave players a glimpse at a bunch of weird obstacles and then cut to a confused Rayman. Then it’s made clear in the trailer that Rayman is the new playable character, and those weird obstacles are in fact a bunch of new levels. It also looks like a bunch of Rayman’s abilities will also come into play in this new DLC.

We are clearly given a glimpse at his gliding mechanic. And then we are also introduced to a bunch of weird-looking enemies. Players are also given a look at this new DLC’s Bosses. The one player shown is a huge Rabbid whom players would surely have to defeat. It’s an exciting-looking DLC, and fans would be glad to know it would be launching on August 30th.
