

Ubisoft has a lot of big-name franchises under its belt. The studio is home to Assassin’s Creed, Tom Clancy, Far Cry, and several other gaming franchises. While all these games have gained a great following over the years, it looks like players are not happy with Ubisoft at all. In a recent poll, players and gamers across the globe have voted Ubisoft as the most hated gaming brand.
Ubisoft gets the crown for the most hated gaming brand in the world
In a poll conducted by rave reviews, people have chosen Ubisoft as the most disliked gaming brand in 23 countries. This is not surprising, as fans have had major issues with the studio regarding certain decisions taken by the studio. Far Cry 6 by Ubisoft was released this month and has gotten very mediocre reviews by both players and critics alike. This has been the problem with Ubisoft. The studio has a lot of potential and resources but hasn’t been able to capitalize on them.

Ubisoft’s Tom Clancy franchise has been waning away due to the company’s constant changes and additions to the game. The studio’s reaction to the community’s censure has been slow. While Ubisoft has taken some steps, the problem remains largely the same. Watch Dogs is another great franchise whose potential has been undermined.

While the first two games were good and captivating, the latest installment of Watch Dogs, Watch Dogs: Legion, has failed to do so. The game was marketed heavily but lacked story elements and new features.
It’s high time that Ubisoft started listening to the community. With how things are right now, players will love something unique and refreshing from the studio. And this is a tough task not only for Ubisoft but for others as well. The second spot on the list of most hated gaming brands was taken by Capcom, hated in nine countries.
