Nintendo is witnessing continuous success this year with most of its big releases. Firstly, Pokemon Legends: Arceus swayed the fans with an impressive gameplay design. Then it was the turn of Kirby and the Forgotten Land and Switch Sports. Needless to say, both of these offerings also ended up impressing the players.
But Nintendo never settles with a bunch of hits, as it has a vast catalog of characters and games to offer to its loyal fans. Well, it seems like the publisher has made it clear that it will also continue to receive more success even in the second half of 2022. That’s because developer Ubisoft recently came up with a brief showcase for an awaited, upcoming Nintendo Switch title, Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope.

Not to mention, that despite a short duration, the showcase did manage to make a strong impression on the viewers. And the fans are already preparing to enter the battle when the title comes out later this year.
Nintendo fans are excited to see arch rival Bowser joining Mario as a teammate in Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope
During the showcase, the creative director of the game, Davide Soliani, mentioned different aspects of the awaited Switch project. Although he didn’t want to spoil a lot of details, he did drop the biggest news that will make Mario fans curious as well as hyped for the upcoming release.
He revealed that Mario’s long-time rival, Bowser will be joining him to fight together in Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope. Yes, that’s absolutely right and the director is excited to see the players’ reaction to this change, when the game comes out on Nintendo Switch.

Soliani said that they are very happy to “welcome Bowser to the team. It’s unexpected of him to team up with his long-time rival, so you are probably wondering why he does so. Well, I do not want to spoil the fun surprises ahead, but I can tell you that it has something to do with Cursa.”
Apparently, as per the creative director, Bowser has lost his army to the malevolent entity Cursa. Hence, he’s left with no choice but “to join the ranks of the Rabbids Heroes, and fight alongside Mario to reclaim his army. And it will be explosive!”
