Streamers and creators often have entirely different personalities behind the cameras, which they usually don’t show to the audience. But there are moments when the true self emerges on the screen. The famous YouTube streamer Dr Disrespect recently broke out of his character during a livestream.

Herschel Beahm IV, better known by his internet alias of Dr Disrespect, is a gaming streamer who mostly plays FPS games like Call of Duty. But he is mostly known for his iconic look and personality on stream. He wears a red waist along with a black wig, mustache, and glasses. But aside from the look, his confidant and satirically arrogant personality get a lot of attention.

Dr Disrespect broke his character after an enemy player disrespects his mother

Dr Disrespect isn’t an avid fan of Warzone 2.0, but he doesn’t have such complaints about Modern Warfare II. So he was playing the latter Call of Duty title with fellow streamers, TimTheTatman, ZLaner, and CouRage. But the fun stream came to an abrupt end when an enemy player abused Doc’s mother.

The multiplayer scene in Call of Duty and many other online games can get heated up sometimes, which often leads to players using swear words and even insulting their close ones of the enemy player. On the recent live stream, a player said, “Hey Dr Disrespect, your mom’s a b*tch!” This made the streamer extremely uncomfortable.

The 40-year-old was caught off guard by the swearing against his mother. So, he was silent for a moment and didn’t say much. Doc usually remains unaffected by hateful comments, but not when someone says something about his close ones. He later laughed it off with the others on the stream, who were also stunned to hear it.

Doc once got emotional after a fan donated $50

During a live stream, a fan once donated $50 to Dr Disrespect and shared that he lost his mother to cancer. The fan further revealed how listening to Doc’s audiobook helped him during the tough times. But the 40-year-old streamer got extremely emotional after reading this.

So Disrespect responded to his fan, saying, “Sorry to hear about your loss, that sucks. That is not a fun time.” He also appreciated the fan’s presence on the stream, “I appreciate you being in the arena, especially on a Friday. We’re the champs we get a little crazy, we get a little psychotic.”
