There were many things going about last day but one news stood among them all. Michael ‘Shroud’ Grzesiek announced that he’s coming back to Twitch. After teasing his move around for days, Shroud has finally broke the big move on his Twitter handle.
Twitter erupts as Shroud returns
Shroud announced his move in the most subtle way possible. “I’m coming home”. The video had some of his clips with the Twitch logo towards the end. It was an unexpected move from the streamer.

The setback from Mixer
Shroud is one of the best player/streamer out there. Countless times, he has proved how good he is and has established his position among the top. He was initially with Twitch, but made a shift to Mixer last year on October.
Mixer was released a rival streaming platform to Twitch. Very soon, they managed to bring two of the biggest names from Twitch to their platform; Ninja and Shroud. However, the two streamers did not entirely succeed in bringing their fan base along to the new platform.

Mixer wasn’t exceptionally successful and some months before, they shut down and Microsoft announced a partnership with Facebook Gaming. Since then, everyone had one question in mind, what will be Shroud’s move?
His return to Twitch could be the best move he could have had. Shroud made fame through the platform and returning like a king could be just what he needs. His fans haven’t left and they’d be more than happy seeing him back in the platform streaming some big games.

Will Shroud go pro again?
This news has been around for a while. Shroud himself has teased his fans with a couple of cryptic videos, but it could be that those clips were meant to announce his initial return.
Many speculated that he’d be taking up Valorant in the pro scene. This is still not confirmed and with him having joined Twitch again. However, seeing Shroud in the Valorant Esport scene would be some sight.
