There has been growing discontent about the policies laid down by Twitch among content creators. This has led to platforms like Kick and Rumble gaining multiple big names from the streaming platform. The most recent one to switch over from Twitch to Kick was the newest FaZe Clan member YourRAGE.
Joining the list of content creators leaving Twitch is MoistCr1TiKaL. The Moist Esports founder has recently uploaded a YouTube video, sharing what led to him taking this decision, and what he plans for the future.

In his latest video titled Goodbye Twitch, MoistCr1TiKaL shared why is leaving the Amazon-owned platform. “My Twitch contract has been terminated amicably,” he shared. He had a lot of time on the contract if he wanted to continue it. However, MoistCr1TiKaL decided to leave the platform. He still has not switched over to any new platform.
With the fans confused, MoistCr1TiKaL said, “It’s nothing like that; This is just simply me saying Twitch was nice enough to turn our contract into toilet paper.” Furthermore, he praised the platform for helping with easy off-bonding. After leaving the platform, however, he started to lay down harsh critiques of the Amazon-backed platform.
After leaving the platform, MoistCr1TiKaL shared that the one thing he liked about streaming was he rarely had to pay to watch streams. However, Twitch has added a major feature monetizing the video and is charging the users to remove ads.

He went on to state how intrusive the ads are on the streaming platform. He said, “I think the ads are way too intrusive and there’s a lot of room for improvement there so the contract was very strict. And the payment from the contract was not enough to cover even a single one of the Moist Esports teams so we all just kind of felt like this contract isn’t doing anything except making the streams worse!”
While the streamer has criticized the platform, MoistCr1TiKaL will still be streaming occasionally on Twitch. He is planning to make content primarily on YouTube, with occasional streaming days on the Twitch channel.
