In the last few years, internet content has seen a drastic change as people have shifted towards watching baseless and meaningless content. They have relied upon watching something for entertainment regardless of its quality or base. This has paved the way for a handful of creators as they have risen to undeserved success. Plus, this has somehow sidelined the good creators, as their content has failed to reach the limelight, adding multiple halts in their journey.

Social media platforms, such as Facebook and Instagram, have adopted a similar idea, such as TikTok adding short content. For instance, they added a ‘reels’ section that allows creators to push out content in 60 seconds. While it was all well in the start, the content quality saw a massive decline as ‘cringe’ content picked up the pace. And while it was eating up a majority of the user’s time, Amouranth felt the need of penning down her thoughts about the same.

She claimed that ‘wholesome’ and ‘good quality’ content brought in less traffic, becoming the reason for the massive sideline.
