However, in recent years, gambling has become quite popular on the platform, with many streamers hosting gambling streams. But this gambling became a complication for Twitch streamer Sliker.

Sliker is a well-known video game streamer on Twitch with over 433,000 followers. Since September 17, the internet has been flooded with accusations from multiple people and streamers against Sliker. They claimed that the English streamer had scammed them of a lot of money for gambling. However, it was hard to believe such accusations against a famous Twitch streamer.

Sliker apologizes for his gambling addiction

However, Sliker recently did a live stream tearfully and accepted his misconduct. He apologized to his fans and many streamers from whom he borrowed money while telling various lies. He further revealed the money he took was for his gambling habit. And he even opened up about having this addiction for a long time, which increased over time.

Further, many people have accused him of not returning their money. But the English streamer tried to return and has returned the money to some people. Sliker said, “I’ve paid a few people back. I’m not gonna say I’m proud. Because you know, obviously, there are so many people I haven’t paid back, and there are so many people I ask for so much.”

The Englishman was very ashamed of his act. Throughout the video, he found it hard to look at the camera. He did not even find the courage to ask for forgiveness as he believed his act did not deserve it. Sliker said, “I’m not asking for forgiveness. I can never ask for.”

How will the English streamer pay his debt?

Sliker has collected a massive debt because of his gambling addiction, and it won’t be easy for him to pay. So, the Englishman asked friends and some fellow streamers for help. The big-name gambling streamer, Trainwreck, revealed he’s trying to help Sliker. He even suggested what could be done to avoid such future losses.

Further, famous streamers like Ludwig and xQc have stepped forward to help pay Sliker’s debt. Although xQc also mentioned that it might take some time, as the amount is over $300,000. Also, Ludwig made a video where he talked about how Sliker borrowed money from so many people.
