The Pokemon World Championship 2024 will take place in Honolulu, Hawaii. Pokemon has officially announced the news on their YouTube channel with a video. In a video, we can see a man and a giant Pikachu, adorned in typical Hawaiian attire, welcoming fans to attend the Championship next year on the island state of Hawaii. This video was shared during the finals of this year’s world championship.
The 2023 World Championship, which was held in Japan, is the first time it has happened in any Asian country. Now the next year’s championship will be held on familiar grounds again.

Previously, fans have seen the Pokemon World Championship take place in Hawaii on three different occasions: in 2007, 2010, and 2012. But for the first time, it is taking place in Honolulu, as the previous three were set in Waikoloa Village.

The company will donate $200,000 to support the Hawaii Wildfire Relief Fund.
