Tremor, initially introduced in Mortal Kombat: Special Forces, was overshadowed by popular ninjas like Scorpion and Sub-Zero. Despite not appearing in Mortal Kombat: Armageddon, he makes a surprising return in Mortal Kombat 1. While he is being reintroduced to the series, this time he does not make it as a boss or a playable character.

Tremor’s new design in Mortal Kombat 1 depicts him as a ninja made from rock, as seen in the recent Omni-Man gameplay trailer. Although the trailer focuses on Omni-Man, the co-creator of Mortal Kombat, Ed Boon, shared some interesting news about Tremor on his X handle.
