While there are many anticipated titles releasing in the latter half of 2022, God of War: Ragnarok is, without a doubt, probably the most awaited of them all.

The sequel to its blockbuster predecessor is yet to receive a date of arrival but the constant flow of crucial leaks and updates have kept it on top of the hype train. Now it seems like God of War: Ragnarok fans are in for a massive announcement, soon. At least, that’s what it looks like, going by a tweet from none other than one of the employees working on the sequel.

Will God of War: Ragnarok get a confirmation for 2022 release schedule?

The first part arrived four years ago and has become an iconic entry in the long running franchise featuring Kratos. The 2018 offering also showcased his son Atreus, while depicting a really strong relation of the father-son duo.

Fans have been looking forward to know about a fresh update on God of War: Ragnarok for the past few months now. Although there’s an official trailer available already, PlayStation has revealed nothing else on the project.

In fact, a release date is also not known at the moment for the new installment. But now it seems like fans might be in for a massive treat, going by a recent tweet from the Art Director on the God of War collections.

Raf Grassetti recently shared an interesting image on his Twitter account, while showing the official merchandise for the upcoming game. It was a T-shirt featuring the logo of God of War: Ragnarok. However, he didn’t write anything else in the tweet except for mentioning the picture.

Now it may imply that perhaps PlayStation is already planning for the next big announcement for the awaited sequel. Most probably, it might be related to the yet-to-be-unveiled release date of the title. Another possibility could be that it might eventually get a 2022 launch window which is very much expected right now.

But nothing can be confirmed at the moment, unless there comes an official word from Santa Monica Studio’s team itself.
