Content creators and video games trudge very closely. Most of the games these days rely on online entities to raise awareness during promotional campaigns. The clout of big streamers and YouTubers such as PewDiePie, Jacksepticeye, and Markiplier helps tap into the right audience for the game, and modern-day developers are very much aware of the influence content creators have on their game’s performance.

I literally am trying to throw money at the game… dude I would buy a toilet plunger as an axe… just give us new shit.” Devs of Fortnite took this tweet a little close to their heart, and it gave birth to the mythical harvesting tool, the Plunja.

2. SIMULACRA

SIMULACRA is a horror game that almost gave YouTuber Jacksepticeye a panic attack. In his YouTube series, Jack decided to put his YouTube name as the in-game username. But Simulacra caught him off guard as right in the next slide, the game said, it knows his real name and showed on screen, Seán William McLoughlin.

3. Subnautica

Sometimes Devs of certain games reward content creators for their constant support and for publicly showing love for their game. Subnautica is one of them. After seeing YouTuber Markiplier making a plethora of videos on the game, the team added an in-game purchasable bobblehead of the veteran gamer. Later, other YouTubers such as Jacksepticeye also got dedicated trinkets in the game.

.4 Choo Choo Charles

After the fans demanded a MoistCr1TiKaL-themed Easter Egg in the Choo Choo Charles game, the devs didn’t waste too long to comply. That is why if a player puts the word “Moist” in the cheat menu will activate the Critical mode and Charles Christopher White Jr. himself will arrive as the main antagonist of the game.
