As per the official description of the website, the sequel will take place five years after the events of Jedi: Fallen Order. The central character of Cal will need to beat the Empire at every front since he’s one of the last remaining Jedi in the galaxy.

Star Wars Jedi: Survivor is being developed by Respawn Entertainment and Electronic Arts is returning as the publisher.

While the game will surely turn out to be great for its fans, its makers are really focusing on how they can make it feel breathtaking on the PlayStation 5 when it eventually comes out.

Recently, Respawn’s Stig Asmussen, who’s the director of the first entry as well as Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, discussed the upcoming title during an interaction. He was speaking to StarWars.com regarding the next installment as part of the ongoing SWCA 2022.

When he was asked about how they are using the power of next-gen consoles like PlayStation 5 to make the sequel better, he had this to say:

“So I think the biggest thing is ray tracing, or lighting. That’s allowing us to do real-time lighting, all the time, at a fidelity that’s well beyond anything that we’ve ever produced before.”
