Thus, it is totally fine for fans to get into a competitive form when it comes to playing the game. And with an arsenal of high-octane weapons, it is sometimes difficult to choose which one of them is much more suitable for a nice and easy game. So, here are the Top 5 weapons to enhance your gameplay in Splatoon 3.
Splattershot
Despite being the most easily available weapon in the game, Splattershot is much more than it seems. As a competitive player, one should always keep in mind that Splattershot has the potential to make both mid-range and short-range damage efficiently, but sometimes it can also cause some good long-range damage as well.
Splattreshot is a middleweight weapon and has the potential to shoot 111 shots before it starts refilling. This means that a player can shoot 10 shots per second, which can be a great advantage when in a close combat situation. Also, the weapon has a base damage of 35, which can be proven lethal when compared to some other weapons in the game. For players who are trying to play the game in a competitive manner, Splattershot can be a great weapon to help improve your game.
Hero Shot Replica
For those who love using Splattershot as their base weapon, Hero Shot Replica can be a great alternative for them. Hero Shot Replica is a re-skin of Splattershot, with almost the same stats as it. The only difference is that to play with Hero Shot Replica, players have to complete all the Octo Valley challenges.

To unlock this weapon, a player has to complete the last set of the Inkling Squid Amiibo challenges in the limited Octo Valley arena. The four main challenges include Spongy Observatory, Pinwheel Power Plant, Far-Flung Flooders, and Enter The Octo King Boss Battle. Only after that when the set is complete, the Inkling Squid will reward the player with powerful armor gear and a Hero Shot Replica.
Squeezer
The main weapon in both Splatoon 2 & 3, the Squeezer is a multi-purpose weapon and can have both advantages in long and short-range combats. The weapon has the potential to shoot low-spread but high-intensity shots when the trigger is pulled, while also shooting consecutive slightly low-impact shots when the button is held for a longer period of time.
The Squeezer can shoot 45 shots before needing to refill, while also shooting 7.5 shots per second. The weapon also allows a player to cause base damage of 38 that can be proven lethal when in a serious long-range gunfight. Whereas for short range, the Squeezer can shoot 92 shots before needing to refill and can cause up to 30 base damage.
Glooga Dualies
A weapon only developed to do pure damage and rain havoc. The Glooga Dualies are one of the main weapons in both Splatoon 2&3 and are a middleweight weapon in the game. Although the base damage of the weapon is around 36, when rolling, the damage increases drastically and can cause base damage of 52.5.
But with some drawbacks, the weapon can sometimes also cause trouble for inexperienced players. For starters, the weapon consumes 8% of ink tank capacity while rolling, which means it can cause damage but will have to lose some ink in the process. Secondly, the time between rolling, jumping, and surfing can cause some delays in the shooting or make the weapon inaccurate for a while.
N-Zap ’85
A powerhouse of pure chaos, the N-Zap ’85 looks like a replica of Nintendo’s famous 1985 NES toy gun, thus the name. It is a weapon that has been persistently a fan favorite and has been one of the few weapons to survive all three games in the series. The N-Zap ’85 has the base damage of 28, but this can be overlooked as the weapon can shoot up to 125 shots before refilling, and up to 12 shots per second.

This means that it can help a player in covering a large area of the map faster and also help them in refueling their base weapons while giving the player time to fight off during the process. N-Zap ’85 can be a great secondary weapon and thus is a must in the arena.
