As mentioned multiple times before, Nintendo Switch proved to be a very safe bet for the Japanese video game giant. It got successful enough to be one of the best-selling consoles ever. It has multiple games that have topped UK sales charts. And it is the first Nintendo console in years that gave third-party developers a reason to port their games to it, portability.
There have been rumors that 2023 might be Switch’s last stand, and it seems like Nintendo is all prepared for it. They are planning to give this console a really memorable send-off with the following games.

Nintendo has been working on the remaster of its “Prime” first-person shooter series for a couple of years now. And now the rumors are saying that Metroid trilogy is not very far from release. If everything goes right, we might be getting these games in Q1 of 2023.
Nintendo might announce them in the upcoming Direct. Whenever they do, these would really give fans a reason to keep using the console while waiting for Zelda!
The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom for Nintendo Switch
Link defeated Ganon, who had taken over Hyrule in Breath of the Wild. He did that by exploring, defeating weird enemies, completing weird quests, and making new exciting friends. He had a bunch of things in his arsenal. Most important is his trusty Sheikah Slate.
It lets him slow time, freeze water, and survey the areas using an inbuilt map of the area. And we have a direct sequel to this game coming soon. Nintendo actually covered so much ground in the prequel that even imagining what comes next is exciting.
Let us see what Nintendo does this time.
Bayonetta Origins: Cereza and the Lost Demon
Bayonetta is a character that would always find a way to come back. People would never let her die, ever. So, it does not come as a surprise when, right at the heels of Bayonetta 3, we got the announcement for Bayonetta Origins.
This beautiful cel-shaded isometric game gives Bayonetta games a new spin.

In this one, we control a young Bayonetta with a more hands-off approach to combat. We can’t help but see similarities between Bayonetta Origins and Okamiden.
We would find out at launch exactly how similar they are.
Fire Emblem Engage
The latest game in Nintendo’s long-running tactical role-playing series. This game tells the tale of four kingdoms that fought together to fight the Fell Dragon. And when the Dragon is about to awaken once again, those kingdoms are required to come together once again to defeat it.
This game, like any other Fire Emblem game, would feature the perma-death mechanic. Perma-death means if one of your party members dies in combat, they die forever, there’s no way to bring them back.
Even though Kotaku says its hero looks like a Vtuber, the game itself looks pretty good, and it is due for the Nintendo Switch release in a couple of weeks!
Persona 3 Portable and Persona 4 Golden
Now, these are two different games, but creating two different entries for them seemed pretty redundant and unfair to our readers. We all know about the Persona franchise, a mix of turn-based RPGs, dungeon crawlers, and social sims.

Moreover, these games always tell a story that is on the heavy side, and your choices affect how the games end. So yeah, play them, but make your choices count.
