But this year seems to be contradicting that norm as big titles are set to be launched this month on the Nintendo Switch. From Pokemon to Sonic, the juggernauts of the gaming world are ready to rumble in the penultimate month of 2022.

The Nintendo Switch has become a fan favorite ever since its release back in 2017. This system has witnessed many top-of-the-line titles like Mario Odyssey, Zelda: Breath of The Wild, Metroid: Dread, and many more.

#5 Atari 50: The Anniversary Celebration (November 11)

Remember the Golden times of the Atari? Relive the nostalgia with Atari 50: The Anniversary collection as the console and game maker celebrates it’s half-century anniversary with this collection of some of its finest titles for your Switch!

But not just games, this collection features interviews and retrospective documentaries, to give a valuable look at the history of video games.   

#4 Adventure Academia: The Fractured Continent (November 18)

Adventure Academia: The Fractured Continent is a Classic JRPG-style game. The premise is very much the league of Fire Emblem and Dragon quest, where the Heroes are put in a four-nation struggle for survival.

The players have to progress through the story while balancing their hero’s unique powers and youth! Which is a very uncommon take on the classic JRPG formula. 

#3 Call Of Duty Warzone 2 (November 16)

On November 16, Switch will finally receive its first Call of Duty installment, which is Call of Duty Warzone 2.

Warzone 2 is a free-to-play cross-platform online fps battle royal game with new and improved maps, 2v2 Gulag mode, Arena mode, and many other new features that make it a worthy new addition to the legendary franchise. 

#2 Sonic Frontiers (November 8)

Sonic fans rejoice as their favorite blue Hedgehog makes a grand new return. The Sonic franchise hasn’t seen much success in the past few years.

Until the release of Sonic Mania in 2017, fans were very dissatisfied with how the developers were treating the franchise. But this time Sonic is coming back with a blast in Sonic Frontiers. 

#1 Pokemon Scarlet and Violet (November 18)

The juggernaut of the gaming world, Pokemon, is coming back on the Nintendo switch. With massive hype and expectations, Pokemon Scarlet and Violet will release on November 18 worldwide.

These new installments will bring brand-new additions to the classic pokemon formula. For the first time in pokemon history, these games will feature an open world! The expectations are really high and fans are hyped up to try the all-new generation of pokemon.
