Streamer mmDust says he is “above the average person”

In TwitchCon 2018, a streamer named mmDust had a conference where he was asked what is his take on his relationship with his viewers was. Although it was a simple but logical question to ask, mmDust replied with an alleged “God Complex”. He replied, “I don’t feel like many of my viewers should relate themselves to me because I think of myself as like above the average person. So I don’t feel like many people could relate to me.”

Although, after the clip got viral, mmDust realized his mistake and released a statement saying, “This past weekend I made a fool of myself and grossly misspoke during a panel as apart of it. What I said was absolutely garbage and I made a horrible example of the gaming and streaming communities. I am sorry for not better preparing myself for the panel and for being a jacka** with how I chose to respond to it prior to now.”

He also said, “I DO NOT believe that my life is any more valuable or important than the life of another. I DO NOT expect or feel entitled to anything from life to be given to me over another person.” Thus, making a public apology for his statement.

Tommyinnit fans accuse JiDion of harassment

At TwitchCon Amsterdam 2022, YouTube prankster and banned Twitch streamer JiDion was accused by Tommyinnit fans who said that the 21-year-old prankster actually harassed them during a meet and greet lineup. The incident took place when JiDion entered the TwitchCon despite being banned by the platform from attending it.

Notably, as most may know, JiDion is a full-fledged prankster, thus he proved the same when fans were waiting for Tommyinnit to come to the stage. Then out of nowhere JiDion started shouting, “We Want Tommy” chant that annoyed his fans. Later, when everyone accused JiDion of harassment, he officially released the video, proving that he was just being a little annoyed and nothing was too serious as said before, thus saving him from beef with Tommyinnit.

Hampton Brandon gets thrown out of TwitchCon

During Twitchcon 2017, Hampton Brandon, who was a part of the Ice Poseidon streaming group, was streaming in the convention center while being a little extra towards the people around him. He was spotted by the security several times but when finally confronted by them, the banned streamer lost his cool and totally vented on the security.

He was then escorted out of the venue. But due to his stubbornness, he was forced to leave the convection. Notably, he was really slurry while being escorted and even dropped the F-bomb on the attending people. After the incident, he was banned from Twitch, thus making a huge deal out of himself.

Stalker follows Sodapoppin to TwitchCon

Sodapoppin is one of the most followed streamers on Twitch, thus it is obvious that he will have a number of admirers. But one such admirer made Sodapoppin creep out when one day he would just show up at his home and would not leave when asked to. He would then proceed to have drinks and smokes at his place before finally leaving.

Later, in TwitchCon 2017, the same fan would follow the streamer around the venue and would even make an appearance in his stream. But this time the streamer would have enough of him and asked him to leave and also saying that he doesn’t want to talk to him anymore. Notably, Sodapoppin would still talk about this encounter to this day, showing how much it affected him mentally.

Taylor1 meets his streaming partner for the first time

This incident is one of the most wholesome moments in the entire TwitchCon history. When taylor1, who is known for his hilarious take on things while streaming, started streaming, he would be playing with randoms, until one day he started streaming with another Twitch streamer named Greekgodx.

Thus, in TwitchCon 2017, after playing and streaming together for months, both the creators would finally meet at the event. The moment was one of the most emotional scenes in the entire streaming history, as both partners would start crying and hugging each other out of love and respect for the bond that they shared. Later they would even wrestle outside the event, making it even more memorable for the fans.
