Recently, Esports Awards revealed its official list of nominees who will compete for the Streamer of the Year title in 2022. While there were some obvious inclusions like DrDisrespect, Kammeto, and Valkyrae, the list made some bizarre snubs as well. The streamers who were left out are one of the most extremely famous creators in the world.
Pokimane, Shroud, and Ninja among others snubbed out of Streamer of the Year nominations
Firstly, speaking of Imane Anys, she needs no introduction regarding her immense reach to millions of fans. On Twitch, she’s the most followed female streamer among other notable creators. As a gamer, her skills are impeccable to witness in titles like League of Legends, GTA, and Valorant. Unfortunately, though, Pokimane isn’t there among the last 12 contenders for the biggest honor in Esports Awards.
The next surprising snub on the list is Michael Grzesiek, who’s better known as Shroud. The former Counter-Strike: Global Offensive player is a Canadian streamer and YouTuber. Apart from CSGO, he’s also well-known for PUBG: Battlegrounds, Valorant, and World of Warcraft. Despite showing a great display of his talent in recent months, he couldn’t make it to the recent nominations.
Richard Tyler Blavins, aka Ninja, has also been excluded as well. The world-famous Fortnite pro is regarded as one of the top streamers when it comes to having a large following. But it didn’t help him much as he’s also among those who have missed a shot at winning 2022’s Streamer of the Year award.

Ludwig Anders Ahgren also failed to make the cut of final nominees. The American streamer, YouTuber, and podcaster is known for showing his exceptional skills in games like Among Us and Valorant.
