F1 Cars having a Kill Cam

This is one of the most popular and noticeable Easter eggs in the entire game. In the Crown Raceway, there is a glitch that allows players to parkour their way to the race track where F1 cars can be seen zooming at full speed at the distance. But if you somehow manage to precisely jump to the track and wait for an F1 car to crash into you, it will be revealed that the cars have their own Kill Cams.

It is still not clear if this is a glitch or a real feature, but it surely gives the players the satisfaction of knowing how well the Easter Egg is hidden in this one. Also, this is also fascinating that since the F1 cars are mostly off-limits, developers had truly taken their time to implement their kill cams to the cars separately.

Breaking Bad reference in Santa Sena

Vince Gilligan is a storytelling genius, and there is no doubt the fact that his prized possession, Breaking Bad, has made our hearts go “You are God Damn Right!!” every time we see or hear about a BB reference. And the same is the case with Call of Duty MWII’s Santa Sena multiplayer map, where keen-eyed players can spot an unusual vehicle parked in the middle of the road.

This special vehicle is none other than the famous RV from the critically acclaimed show, which once served as the chemical laboratory for the King Pin of Albuquerque, Walter White, and his side-kick Jesse Pinkman. One thing that makes this Easter Egg even more special is the fact that players can spot five bullet holes taped on the door of the RV referencing Season 3 of the show.

A band playing ‘Bad Guy’ by Billie Eilish

Bad Guy is a chartbuster in all senses, the tune, the melody, and the sassy-ness, but it is unusual to hear it during a murder raid in a game like Call of Duty. Or maybe it fits perfectly. However, during the fourth mission of the single-player campaign ‘Tradecraft’ after crossing the bridge in Amsterdam, players can find a band playing Jazz instrumentals.

And if players try to listen closely they will discover that the song they are playing is none other than ‘Bad Guy‘ by Billie Eilish. To confirm that this is not a case of mistaken identity, it can be found that during the credits of the game, the song is credited to her.

What kind of name is Soap?

During one of the missions where Sergent Soap has to meet with the cartel leader, he was introduced to a higher-up called Diego. While talking to Soap, he laughs at him and asks for his name, and after learning his name, he says, “What the f**k kind of name is Soap?”

Notably, this is actually a reference to the chat that Captain Price and Soap had before in Call of Duty 4, where Price says, “What the hell kind of name is Soap?” Thus it shows that the game knows its material and takes it very seriously.

Shepherd Burned Us

During the final cut scene of the Jailbreak mission, while escaping from the prison, Ghost has an interesting line to say to Price. Notably, while they are sitting in the van to escape from the guards, Ghost says, “Shepherd burned us,” which is actually a reference to the original Call of Duty Modern Warfare II.

Although, in that game, Ghost and Riley are killed by General Shepherd and their bodies were burned by him, calling back to that game shows that this time the story is totally different. Although, it also raises the question, is this the multiverse of Call of Duty? Who knows? Maybe.
