The Xbox team just rolled out a fresh update for the month of March after a long period with no news. But now that it has brought the update forward, there are pretty exciting changes added to the console and controller.
On its Twitter account, Xbox shared information about the latest update for Xbox devices. Some of the new features include an option for pinning the games and button remapping. However, the response of the users to this reveal was more or less cold.

Gaming fans still not happy with Xbox
To enhance the experience, Xbox’s newest update brings various features and more that will likely make the gameplay sessions more enjoyable.
Firstly, there is the option of ‘Pin to Quick Resume’. It will enable the players to seamlessly switch between tons of titles and resume the gameplay, swiftly, from where they left. Players can pin up to two games to the ‘Quick Resume’ category on the Xbox Series X and S.
Next up is the option to remap the Xbox controller’s ‘Share Button’ functionality. Usually, it lets you take a screenshot or record a video. But now, you can add more custom actions to this button. For example, you can set it on mute TV, open up the list of friends or your achievements, and lot more.
Then there is the Audio Setup Wizard. It allows you to use a guided audio setup for HDMI devices. It lets you test and also verify the HDMI audio format of your devices, like speakers, connected to the Xbox console.
The fans, on the other hand, didn’t seem too impressed with the March update for the Xbox. In fact, most of them were still critical of the brand for not offering out new games lately.
Then there were those, as always, who compared PlayStation and Xbox and took a jab at the latter.
“Havent even turned my Xbox on in months , no good games to play … too busy on my PS5…,” wrote one user.
