Jacksepticeye must feel like the luckiest man in the world. The YouTuber celebrated his 32nd birthday by uploading a video with none other than Hollywood heartthrob Tom Holland himself. Tom plays Nathan Drake of Uncharted fame in his upcoming live-action movie adaptation of the game franchise.
In the video, Tom and Jacksepticeye sit down to talk about the former’s latest action flick, and how it’s different from being Spider-Man for the widely popular Marvel Cinematic Universe. The two also play the titular Uncharted game in what became a fun filled ride with laughs and gameplay fails galore.

Tom tells Jack what makes Uncharted different from Spider-man
Talking about Uncharted, Tom mentioned that the game was his first entry into the franchise. He praised its cinematic and adventurous nature, saying this was the game that the upcoming movie took most inspiration from. Additionally, answering Jacksepticeye’s question about whether Tom had met Nolan North, Drake’s voice actor in-game, Tom revealed:
“I have, yeah, we actually shot a scene together in the movie. It meant a lot to me because I really wanted his approval, you know, because he created this character and brought him to life. He’s sort of passing on the baton.”
The Irish YouTuber quickly passed on the controller to Holland at the start of the video. And tried as the popular actor did, he could not control his nervousness at the prospect of the veteran gamer looking at his gameplay. As he let out a shriek now and then, even refusing to believe the game was on normal difficulty.
At a later point in the video, the actor elaborates on the difference between being Spider-Man and Nathan Drake. Agreeing that doing his stunts as Nathan Drake was more intense than playing wall-crawler, Tom says,
“Not only is it that you have the luxury of the mask of Spider-Man, you also have the luxury that he is a superhero so he is supposed to do things that humans just can’t do”

Tom further talked about how the element of CGI and digital takeovers make many of the moments in Spider-Man a little simpler. Additionally, Holland said that a lot of Spider-Man’s stunts are done on the mocap stage, but with Uncharted they didn’t have that luxury.
