Nostalgia is a heck of a thing, and people often get nostalgic remembering the best of times. A similar thing is being felt by the fans of NFL icon Aaron Rodgers and gamers who bought their first Xbox 360 during the early 2000s.

Xbox 360 is a very popular console and Aaron Rodgers is an even more popular sportsman. And both of them actually have a very weird thing in common with each other.

Xbox 360 Microsoft’s first HD console made its debut in November 2005 and Aaron Rodgers also entered NFL the same year. The console was instantly successful and sold in record-breaking numbers.

This sale was also due to Microsoft’s rival Sony delaying the launch of the upcoming PlayStation 3 for 2006 and then eventually announcing its price to be $499. That price was pretty steep for a gaming console. Xbox 360 on the other hand was available at a starting price of $299. Hence, many leaned towards Microsoft’s console over Sony’s.

Aaron Rodgers spent his initial three years backing Brett Favre. His journey up had a lot of struggles but eventually, he rose to where he is today. He became a starting quarterback for the Packers in 2008. He led the team to a victory in 2010 at Super Bowl XLV, also earning the Super Bowl MVP title.

Now, these things only started in 2005, and while not many see the starting years of their favorite athletes fondly, we must say, Aaron Rodgers had quite a journey indeed. So, when the Score posted a Tweet regarding the same, it certainly brought back a lot of memories to the fans.

Tom Brady’s fans remember his NFL career in 2001

The post from the score started a discussion in which some Brady fans suggested that he in contrast started his NFL career in 2001. He started as a quarterback when the patriots’ quarterback, Drew Bledsoe, was injured and Brady was chosen to fill that position.
